throttle rod mounting kit is a small part but serves an important role in your '65 through '67
Mustang. This is what's going to be used to be connecting the throttle rod to the carburetor
and the accelerator linkage to the throttle rod. If you have these right parts, it can cause
some definite issues with your throttle and may make it not work altogether. This will also
fix any rattling or loose throttle issues you might have. It includes five pieces including
the rubber insulator bushing, the nylon bushing, the cotter pin, the washer, and the
carburetor linkage clip. This kit is designed to work with stock carburetors only and may not
work with your after-market carburetor.
